Banana Bread

Banana bread is a great way to use up your overripe bananas if you bake often and have extra baking ingredients laying around.

Ingredients 
4 ripe bananas
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Baking spray

Optional: 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Large bowl for mixing
Bowl for dry ingredients
Fork
Mixing Spoon
Measuring Cups
Baking Pan


Directions 

  1. Preheat your oven for 350°F and grease your baking pan with your spray.
  2. In your mixing bowl smash your ripe bananas with your large mixing spoon.
  3. Stir in your melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and eggs until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl roughly combine flour and baking soda with a fork.
  5. Tip in your dry ingredients into the mixing bowl and combine
  6. If you would like you can also add some cinnamon at this point. If not, skip this step.
  7. Pour into your pan and place into your preheated oven.
  8. Bake for 1 hour or until a knife can be inserted and cleanly pulled out.
  9. Wait to cool and serve!
